Dear SHBE,
This year, Heritage Saskatchewan is proud to introduce the High School Heritage Challenge. This virtual program aims to give secondary students the opportunity to explore their heritage by creating a project that will be submitted and judged online. Students can sign up individually or in groups, making this challenge perfect for students that are homeschooled. There are two grand prizes of $1000 education bursaries, along with other prize opportunities, so this project is perfect for anyone trying to prepare for post-secondary! A unique aspect of this contest is that projects can be submitted in any language. This is an excellent opportunity for students working in an additional language to practice their skills, as well as students to create a project wholly or partially in a language that reflects their heritage. Projects can also include bilingual and multilingual components.
I have attached a poster and a letter to this email that you can further distribute. If you have any questions about this opportunity, please do not hesitate to email either Katherine or myself. For more details, feel free to check out our website!
Have a nice day.
Sincerely, Ethan Done
